Sticky is a mobile application that allows users to create custom sticker packs for WhatsApp and access existing sticker collections. With AI-powered sticker generation, automatic background removal, animated sticker support, and cloud synchronization, we provide a comprehensive sticker creation experience.
2.1 Automatically Collected Data
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, and device language
- Account Registration: Registration date and time
- Usage Data: Sticker packs viewed, downloads, stickers created, and custom packs count
- Subscription Data: Subscription status, type (monthly/yearly), and history
- Network Information: Connection status and type
- Crash Reports: Anonymous error logs
2.2 User-Provided Data
- Camera/Gallery: Photos are processed locally on your device only
- Google Account: Email, display name, and profile photo (optional sign-in)
- Purchases: Handled by Google Play (we don't access payment details)
- AI Prompts: Text prompts you enter for AI sticker generation are sent to third-party AI services (DeepSeek, StableHorde) to create images
Important
Your photos never leave your device. Background removal and image editing happen entirely on-device. AI sticker generation uses third-party APIs — only your text prompt is transmitted, never your personal photos.

When creating stickers, you are solely responsible for the content you create. You must have the rights to any images you use. You agree not to create content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Containing malware or harmful code
- Violating any third party's privacy
Sticky includes an AI sticker generation feature ("Sticky AI") that creates images from text prompts using third-party AI services.
- AI-generated stickers are created using third-party services (StableHorde, DeepSeek). We do not control the output of these services
- You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sharing it
- You agree not to use AI generation to create content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or violating any person's rights
- Free users receive a limited number of daily AI generations. Premium users receive unlimited generations
- We reserve the right to restrict or revoke AI generation access for users who violate these terms
- AI-generated images may not always be accurate, appropriate, or of consistent quality. They are provided "as is"
AI Data Processing
Only your text prompts are sent to AI services. Your personal photos, account data, and device information are never shared with AI providers.
- Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the period ends
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play settings
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy
- Premium includes: ad-free experience, exclusive sticker packs, unlimited AI sticker generation, and priority support
All content provided by Sticky (excluding user-created content) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Sticky is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Getting Started
How do I add stickers to WhatsApp?
Browse our sticker collection, tap on a pack you like, and press the "Add to WhatsApp" button. The stickers will be automatically added to your WhatsApp and ready to use in any chat. Make sure WhatsApp is installed on your device.
How can I create my own stickers?
There are multiple ways to create stickers: 1) Tap the "+" button to create from a photo — our AI removes the background and you can add text, draw, crop, and apply effects. 2) Use the Sticky AI tab to generate stickers from text descriptions. 3) Create animated stickers from GIFs or videos. Each pack needs at least 3 stickers to be added to WhatsApp.
Do I need an account to use Sticky?
No, you can use most features without an account. However, signing in with Google lets you sync your favorites and custom packs across devices, save your AI creation history, and restore your data if you reinstall the app.
Sticky AI — AI Sticker Generator
What is Sticky AI?
Sticky AI is our AI-powered sticker generator. Simply describe the sticker you want using text (e.g., "cute cat with sunglasses"), choose a style like Cartoon, Kawaii, Pixel, Anime, or others, and our AI creates a unique sticker image for you. You can then edit it, remove the background, and add it to any of your sticker packs.
How many AI stickers can I generate?
Free users get 7 AI generations per day. The daily limit resets every 24 hours. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited AI sticker generation with no daily cap.
Why is AI generation slow or failing?
AI sticker generation uses cloud-based AI services which depend on server availability. Generation typically takes 15-60 seconds. During peak times, it may take longer or occasionally fail. If generation fails, try again — the app will automatically try alternative AI models. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
What styles are available for AI stickers?
We offer 12 distinct styles: Cartoon, Kawaii, Pixel, Realistic, Anime, Comic, Doodle, 3D, Watercolor, Neon, Pop Art, and Graffiti. Each style applies a different artistic approach to your text prompt, so feel free to experiment with different combinations.
Is my data shared with AI services?
Only your text prompt is sent to AI services for image generation. No personal data, photos, account information, or device data is shared. The generated images are stored locally on your device, and if you're signed in with Google, creation metadata (prompt text and timestamp) is synced to your account for history.
Can I edit AI-generated stickers?
Yes! After generating a sticker, you can tap "Edit" to open it in our full sticker editor where you can crop, add text, draw, remove background, and apply effects. You can also tap "Regenerate" to create a new version with the same prompt.
Sticker Creation
How does the AI background removal work?
Our AI uses machine learning to detect the main subject in your photo and automatically remove the background. The processing happens entirely on your device - your photos are never uploaded to any server. For best results, use photos with clear subjects and good contrast.
Can I create animated stickers?
Yes! You can create animated stickers from GIFs or short videos. Import a GIF/video, trim if needed, and our app will convert it to WhatsApp's animated sticker format. Animated stickers are limited to 500KB and 512x512 pixels as per WhatsApp requirements.
What image formats are supported?
For static stickers: JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. For animated stickers: GIF, MP4, and WEBM. All images are automatically converted to the format required by WhatsApp (WebP for static, animated WebP for animated).
Why do my stickers look blurry?
WhatsApp requires stickers to be 512x512 pixels. If your original image is smaller, it will be upscaled which can cause blurriness. For best quality, use high-resolution source images. Also ensure the subject fills most of the frame.
Premium Subscription
What does Premium include?
Premium removes all ads, gives you access to exclusive sticker packs, unlimited AI sticker generation (no daily limit), cloud storage for custom packs, and supports the development of Sticky. Choose between monthly or yearly plans — yearly saves you 40%!
How do I subscribe to Premium?
Go to Settings > Premium or tap on any premium sticker pack. Choose your plan (monthly or yearly) and complete the purchase through Google Play. Your subscription activates immediately and syncs across all devices signed in with the same Google account.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, anytime. Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Sticky and tap Cancel. You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
I subscribed but Premium isn't working?
First, make sure you're signed in with the same Google account used for purchase. Try restarting the app. If the issue persists, go to Settings > Restore Purchases. Still having problems? Contact us with your Google Play order number.
Do I lose my stickers if I cancel Premium?
No! All sticker packs you've downloaded and custom packs you've created remain on your device. You just lose access to premium-exclusive packs and will see ads again. Your cloud synced data also remains accessible.
Troubleshooting
Stickers won't add to WhatsApp?
Make sure WhatsApp is installed and updated. Your pack needs at least 3 stickers. Try clearing WhatsApp's cache (Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Clear Cache). If using a custom ROM, ensure the sticker content provider is working correctly.
The app is crashing or freezing?
Try these steps: 1) Restart the app, 2) Clear the app cache in device settings, 3) Make sure you have the latest version from Play Store, 4) Restart your device. If the issue continues, contact us with your device model and Android version.
Background removal isn't working well?
The AI works best with: clear contrast between subject and background, good lighting, single main subject, and sharp images. Try using photos where the subject is clearly defined. You can also manually edit the result using the eraser tool.
My custom packs disappeared?
Custom packs are stored locally. If you cleared app data or reinstalled, they may be lost. To prevent this: sign in with Google to enable cloud sync, or manually export your packs before clearing data. If you had cloud sync enabled, your packs will restore automatically when you sign in.
Privacy & Data
Are my photos uploaded to your servers?
No. All image editing (including AI background removal) happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your phone. For AI sticker generation, only your text prompt is sent to cloud services — no photos or personal data. We store metadata like favorites and pack names in the cloud only if you enable sync.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. For cloud data deletion, sign in to your account, go to Settings > Delete Account. Or email us at contact@arain.digital with your request. We process deletion requests within 30 days.
Why does the app need camera/storage permission?
Camera permission lets you take photos directly for sticker creation. Storage permission lets you select existing photos from your gallery. These permissions are only used when you explicitly choose to create stickers - we never access your photos in the background.
